I thought it would be worth getting a bag and trying Love, Corn: Smoked BBQ. This groovy wine colored bag advertises a gluten-free, vegan, smoky, PREMIUM, crunchy corn snack. Let’s examine a few of those words:
- Gluten-free: It’s corn. Corn is naturally gluten-free.
- Vegan: It’s corn.
- Smoky: It’s got BBQ spices
- PREMIUM: BZZZ, thanks for playing.
It tasted like a corn nut, but not as good. It’s hard like a corn nut, but doesn’t have the flavor of a corn nut. To get the BBQ flavor out of the Love, Corn you need a good size hand full. With Planters Corn Nuts you just need one or two. Now, I didn’t try all the flavors of Love, Corn. The smoked BBQ is good, but like I said, you need a hand full to get the flavor and there are not a lot in the bag. I’ll give Love, Corn a thumbs up because they tasted good, but they need to fill that big up a little more. You can get Love, Corn for $3.99 a bag for a 4oz. bag. A 7oz. bag of Planters Corn Nuts is $1.59 and come in the same flavors. I’m just saying.
